He ask Brunhilde as he look around to make sure but no, he is not wrong that is as far as he know. He look over the close source of energy and nods gently, standing here will not help so it is better to check it out.

"Three demons in this area? Thats unusual I suppose. But then again it depends. Some demons like to live on their own and have their own territory. They defend it and hunt in it. But there are also demons that are pretty social and always operate together with others. I guess we have a trio then. But lets check it out and find out more. In which direction shall we go first?"

He point in direction of the energy that was closes to them as he nods and follow the path there in silent, placing both guantlets over his hands as he rather be ready then not. Not sure what they can meet there but he bot want to be caught surprised by whatever is hunting here

"Alright, mister." I say with a smile and we walk the few hundreds of meters. "Lets see if we find out what monster we have here. I have an idea what it can be. But I dont know how well you know other demon races. Many demons have no clue about other demons actually since they only care about themselves. And there are so many different ones out there. What do you think it can be?"
I enjoy the little walk through the forest. I like the atmosphere here for sure. No wonder, demons like darker places since many of them are sensitive to sunlight.

He ask calm as he use his sight to keep them on the right path, moving through brushes and avoiding getting hit ny branches. Place surely was nice hunting ground for the demon, dark and far away from church control.

"Hehe good guesses. But I keep my guess for myself for now. Just for fun." I grins and shortly after we reach the source of the demonic energy. But we dont see a demon or anything. Instead infront of us next to a tree is some kind of sculpture. It insists of branches that are stitched together and form a triangle and some other weird shapes. Decorated is the object with dead and rotten plants. It is around a meter tall and sticks in the ground. It is a totem. Now its clear what type of monster did that. I dont know a lot of these totems but they are probably changing this area and give the monster strength and control over the are.
I step to the totem and think. A monster eating up humans, having huge claws, not leaving behind any corpses, living in the forest and setting up totems. I now know what kind of demon that is. Something old, an old relict. Im sure that can tell us more about the dark side of this world.
"So, you know what monster now that is? Not blaming you if you dont. But its pretty clear to me."

"Hmmmmm few make totems like this but my best guess right now is either Wendigo or Leshen.... My best shoots"
He answer calm as he look at the totem and nods, intresting construction but have alot of dark, demonic energy of it.... Probably it power up the monster and may answer the creepy atmosphere around the forest. But it is also a big flaw of the monster, destroying it would make it weaker and easier to hunt but also alert beast
"If we destroy it, it will now that we hunt the totems.... This one will be mostly free but others I feel become traps or hunting ground.... We need act quickly"

"Hehe hey, you are really good. Yes, thats what it the case here. Its a Leshen for sure. I can tell you that." I crouch down infront of the totem and look at it. "Yea, I think so too. Lets destroy this totem and see what happens. I think the Leshen will show himself right away. If we get the Leshen the other totems are no problem at all. Or you have a better idea?"

But Leshen may not die just because of the totems... they are source of power and he can came back" Nighty nods and look over the totem but right now it is best option, they need to pull monster out and kill it and one way to do it is to treat his power source "Let's do this and see how it goes"

"Yea, its not going to kill him but when we destroy his totem he will get mad and approach us probably." I look at Nighty with a smile and then at the totem.
"Alright, I will burn it down." I say and raise a finger and a little pink flame appears on the tip of it, like a lighter. I then put my finger against the totem and it ignites immidietly and goes up in flames, soon to break down from the fire and the twigs falling to the ground.
Around us a breeze blows through our location and the branches and leaves of the trees around us are rustling. Seems like we go the relics attention. There can also be some crows heard in the distance.

"Let's see what will go" He nods and prepare, looking at Brunhilde burning the totem with her finger fire as he wait. Soon they could hear the branches and leaves rustling as he focus now on the direction the sound is coming, prepare for the Leshen if it is him

I look at the fire and it vanishes once I allow it to do so. If I dont put out my fire it doesnt stop burning and it might burn down the entire forest. I then get up, lay a hand on my hip and look around for whats going to happen. The Leshen surely won't like it and in addition they are not dumb. These are usually very old monsters, or relics, or demons, whatever you want to call them. All of them apply most likely. Its good I am supressing my demonic energies, so I look like a normal human but the Leshe is probably going to be carefull.
Between the rustling of the twigs and leaves can also be a howling heard by some kind of animals. Behind us we can hear some quick feet on the ground and between the trees all of a sudden a pack of wolves with red glowing eyes are jumping at us to suprise us. "Oho.." I say, turn around before a wolf jumps at me. I raise my ellbow and the wolf bites into my arm, breaking my bones. "Huh?" Sensing wolves to kill us or at least try to test us I assume. But those are no normal wolves I can guess. Around them they emit some kind of black smoke, they are most likely summoned, and the black smoke around them make them kinda shadowy and hard to see.

So us" Nighty answer as he look at the wolfs before avoide attack from one, he could hear that Brunhilde got caught in the bite but right now he need focus on the incoming pack, she is big girl, can take small bite. With that tought he move aside from another gnawling mouth before strike the third wolf with his fist straight in middle of the skull, crushing it to the forst floor with nasty sound of breaking

"Seems like." I let the wolf bite my arm. As always its a mistake to get close to me, with the other fist I smack the wolf into his snout making it squeal. It lets go of my arm and drops to the ground, whining. The second wolf jumps at mebut I catch its mouth with my hands not letting it bite me and roll over to throw it against a tree. All this I do without putting any energy into it to let the Leshen think we are kinda weak, so that he shows himself. I even supress the regeneration of my arm and let it hang and blead, badly damaged. I then turn to Nighty dealing with the wolves on him.
The wolves are not that strong, if you kill them they drop dead on the ground but soon after that they dissolve into black mist and disappear. I hope we did a good show to the Leshen. In the distance a few crows chant, all of a sudden a few crows come flying with immense speed into us, like a bullet, trying to pierce through us with their beak. Almost no time to react.

"Stupid birds" Nighty growls from the beaks cutting his skin before throw small fireball over the crows to throw them off him. This will be harder to deal with them flying around ąs he try not to use his regeneration, he not want look weak but not treathing enough so Leshen not run away

The fireball ignites a few of the crows and they fall to the ground, dying and dissolving into black mist. The rest of them is flying away once the missed their target. Meanwhile I get pierced by a crow into my stomach. I grunt and fall to the ground, laying motionless with a crow stuck deeply in my guts.
After a moment the actual Lechen appears. A black creature with the skull of an animal as its head, with long horns lookiing like branches, two big hands with extremly long fingers and claws. But he not walks up to us or anything, he just appears out of nowhere, teleported, with some black mist surrounding him. He teleported next to me and looks down to me and then at Nighty. It seems like he wanted to inspect his dead food first and making fun of us. But he is not saying anything, just making some aspirating noises while the wind is rushing through the forest.

Nighty look over the Brunhilde, let's hope she will not overextend too much or it might end up bad. But he guess this little sharade work as Lechen appears, as some legend describe it.... Close to Wendigo but more of the nature tie. Come to play with food before hunting it down as he could understand
"So finally lord of the forest decide to come out... Good, was wonder if we need to hunt you around" Without warning he summong more flames in his hand before toss it into the beast, rushing behind them to strike with his armored fist in the skull that is poking on it head.

The Leshen is suprised and takes the flames and disappears in black mist, teleporting away before you can hit it and soon after that reappears like 20 meters away from us next to a tree. I meanwhile open my eyes again and sit upright, pulling the crow out of my stomach and regenerating my wounds before I stand up with a grins. "How was my acting, hehe?" I giggle sinister. "I guess it worked."
The Leshen looks at the two of us and tilts his head. Probably being suprised how I am still alive. But he then shakes his arms around, seeming angry. The Leshen doesnt speak or has any visible facial expression but you can still get from his movements what he might think. I wonder if that thing does even speak, I hope it does. The Leshen now angry crouches down and slams his big hands on the ground. And digging through the ground are now many roots and twigs into our direction, partly under earth partly over the earth, we can see the attack clearly.

"So it is not dumb.... good to know" He nods and shake his hands when relax, cleaning some of the blood from his cheeks before look over the Brunhilde and winks, smiling softly "It was amazing must say my Lady"
When the Leshen attack, Nighty notice the branches rushing from the strike of the beast, knowing they are rather dangerous. So he decide to push Brunhilde aside from it before cover himself in flames, standing now cover in his flame cloak and burning everything around him to ashes.

"Hehe, thank you, darling." I stumble to the side once Nighty pushes me, so the roots dont get me. Instead they try to get you but fire is a good way to defeat a Leshen and thats why he will have it hard against us for sure. The ropes get burned down around you and the attack stops shortly after that. But thats surely not it at all.
The Leshen now summons another bunch of crows and wolves around him, they appear out of black mist, with their eyes glowing red. The wolves and crows are once again darting towards us, how annoying. The Leshen meanwhile waits until we are busy with the small mobs and teleports behind you to swing his gigantic claws into your back. Surely a difficult opponent to fight against. he keeps distance, lets his mobs do the work and then strikes out of nowhere, teleporting behind you. No wonder normal humans have absolutely no chance against them. And even for us its diffult to get him, he can simply teleport away. The best way to get him is with speed so he cant teleport away in time, I think to myself.
