Guild RP

This RP is basically based on Brunhilde’s backstory. She wants to gather strength to one day end the war in her world and rebuild it. To do so she is seeking insanely strong opponents and secrets all over the different worlds. Therefore she travels through dimensions and her new target is the world “Chelor”. It is a classic fantasy world with magic and different species. Brunhilde will sign up to the adventurer guild to rank up and get access to the most difficult quests to reach her goal. But she will hide her identity as a demon since being an enemy to the world leads to annoying problems that can cost too much time and prevents Brunhilde from finding the secrets of this world.

Everyone can join. If you want to join the rp, just write a reason why you want to join the adventurers guild or why you join Brunhilde’s party or something like that. Just make an entrance. You can be whatever you like, a traveler from another world, you can also know Brunhilde beforehand and just follow her or you can be a local person that lives in the world “Chelor”. You can also talk to the NPC guild house secretary behind the counter. Since you are new and have no rank she will put you into the newest and lowest ranked party and that would be us. So you can approach us and join our group. If we are out on an adventure the guild house secretary will tell you where we are and ask you to join with us because new adventurers are not allowed to do quests without a group.

As a start, we are new adventurers and join the adventurer guild. Since we are new we start at the lowest adventurer rank. Our job is to do quests suiting our adventurer rank. If we do the quest successfully we are paid by the adventurer guild. If the guild house secretary thinks the quests are too easy for us she will give us a rank-up and you are allowed to do more difficult quests. Whenever you do a quest someone has to take the role as a rp-leader and narrator.

The meeting point of the party is the guild hall with lots of tables and chairs. Most of the parties sit together at one table. You can order food there too. There are NPCs around you doing their business. You can either live in the guild house on the second floor or have a home somewhere else in the village. You can also sleep outside (in a tent) if you like. But you can also live in Brunhilde’s room. It’s only one room since Brunhilde currently can’t afford a bigger place since she doesn’t have the currency of this world. The guild house is at the border of a smaller village. The village is located by a river and inside a forest. You can leave the village on the roads through the forest to go to new places. The village and guild house is small, most higher ranked parties visit a much bigger guild house in the main cities. Maybe one day we can get to the biggest of guild houses and cities.

One last thing: Death is not certain in this world. If you die, party members are able to bring your corpse to the church and there you can be resurrected. This will not work if your body is already rotten, so be quick. Also resurrecting is extremely expensive, if you don't have the funds, the church will strip you naked and keep everything you had on you as payment to resurrect you. And they will kick your naked ass out once you are back to life and healed. So sometimes death is maybe the better option? If you can work yourself up again you can rebuy your stuff from the church. But many adventurers who are being resurrected fail and end up homeless because they lost everything.

Erp is strictly allowed. If you have questions, ask anyone! You can do what you like, this is a guild rp but if there are other things you want to do, go ahead.

• Adamantite (These are the rock stars of this world, like Drake or whoever. If you see them in person you can be honored. They get their quests in the hall of fame, like adamantite adventurers visit our village and our small guild house omegalul. If one of them is around every NPC is losing their mind in admiration or jealousy.)

First post: 

I enter the guild house and look around. I just came back from buying my new outfit. I arrived here only a few hours ago and the first thing to do was getting equipped to some extent. So I chose this outfit with no weapon. It may be simple and ordinary but it does its job. It is a usual outfit of lower quality, so it doesnt drag any unwanted attention. My long hair is as usual tied together but I retracted my horns, my wings and my tail. So I just look like an ordinary human. I supress my magical and demonic presence to fool others, thats what I can do best. 

I rent a single and room upstairs but now I am out of money. I am usually very wealthy but its no use when I dont have any currency of this world. Getting large amounts of money by trading gold or other objects from my home world would only drag unwanted attention. And I dont want that. I think the best way is to rank up asap and dont make the beings of this world your enemy, else I will not reach my goals and discover what I want.

[Nighty]

Nighty was silently heading to the town as he was keeping his head down, his clothes figure cover in the cape with hood over his head to hide his horns. He curse himself for not knowing how to hide them, instead he need to relay on this cape and hope for the best. Good thing it was raining so nobody really paid attention, even guards let him through the gate of city....

Now... To find the guild hall. In this place he actually was first time so it was kinda new experience for him. And since he not want to get any attention from most people, he try to follow the standard story of adventure looking to make some work and money. It was easy to convince some common folks, just need to remember to hide his demonic heritage most of times and should be fine. And about guild, information about it he found out after helping someone on the road so atleast getting jobs will not be hard.

And finding guild was not that hard too... They have big building as he nods to himself. Let's hope nobody will try to be too curious about his look and he could just make it... Well we live once and all as he walk inside the building and look around first

I meanwhile sit down at one of the tables. As usual there are adventurers of different ranks around us and it is quiet noisy. But since we are in a smaller village majority of the people are not higher than silver rank. Once I spot Nighty entering I raise my hand towards him and smile to show him where I am. I waited for him so our adventure can start, we traveled here together but split up to do some initial tasks.

(At least I assume thats the case.)

I wait for Nighty to approach and sit down and once he does I put some kind of metal badge on the table. "Here, this is yours. The copper badge of the adventurer guild. I already registered the both of us but it was not easy signing the form. They want to know where we are from but I can't possibly admit we are demons from another world, right?" I chuckle. "Anyways, are you ready? Is there anything you want to know and do? I rent one room upstairs but thats it, now I dont have much money left for anything else. So we might get going as soon as possible, so we can get some money and rank ups... By the way, still hiding under the cape indoors?" I grin.

[Nighty]

Nighty come closer once he notice Brunhilde and smiles softly, she was already here and he guess done with paper work as she was waiting. So without much delay he come closer only and take sit before look at the badge with soft roll of his eyes and cheeky smile "Badges? I hope they not expect us to hang them over wall once we move up the rank" But he take it anyway as he place it over his jacket, still same as always without much tear or wear as he like to keep it in good condition "I guess it would not be easy but I know you have charm to pull it out. I would have the hard time to explain this in deep and satisfing way" he answer for the second question as he look around before place gold coin over her hand 'For the room, not much but I can share what is left... which is this one since second one I keep it. And yes I do wear cape..... I hate when people look over my horns" He mumble last sentence as he look around slowly, placing one hand over the chairs heading. "I'm good to go when you are, I hope they not scam people alot here"

"We have to return the badge once we rank up, so dont worry." I giggle. My badge is already attached to my belt as we are asked to wear them openly to show others what rank we are.

I look at the gold coin Nighty gives me, not quiet understanding what it is for. After all Brunhilde is not dumb but not the cleverest either. And since this language is not her mothers tongue, its sometimes hard for her to understand. "Huh? What is this for? Sorry, I dont understand."

[Nighty]

"Just call it sharing. No worries, I remember still I own you" He answer as he look at the badge before spin it between his fingers, placing it over his jacket as he pin it over the collar of it
"So did you check the post with jobs or you was waiting for me?" Nighty smiles gently and look at the confused Brun, now with the badge he could relax and just focus on helping her out here.

"Huh? Haha, no no. I invited you willingly to my room, you don't need to pay me for such a service." I giggle and push the gold coin on the table back towards Nighty. "Take it an save it up. I think you have pretty horns but yes, you should hide them. Maybe we can save up some money and find a magical item that hides them to other peoples eyes. You dont need to wander around with your coat then all the time."

"No, I was just waiting for you. We can get going now and search for a suitable quest. Hopefully these are not too far away. Unless there is something else you want to do." I sit up ready to leave. "But with a quest we can see at least what the surrounding of the village looks like."

[Nighty]

"Job first, nice things later I guess.... Plus it would be good to check this charming place around just to get to know the landmarks" Nighty answer her and flip the coin before catch in hand and hide in pocket as he raise from the chair and chuckle "Also thanks for the compement, you also look nice... But I prefer your traditional look" After that he wait for Brunhilde to stand up before they could both check the board for some jobs they can take

"My traditional look? Now you have to clarify that further. You mean with my horns?" I giggle and sit back relaxed, putting my ellbows on the table and sustaining my chin and cheeks with my hands, smiling at you.

"And how do you like my new outfit? Its simple and not of higher quality but it looks good on me, right? It doesnt offer any protection but it is very comfortable. I prefer it the unprotected way anyways. After all getting impaled doesn't do any harm to me, hihi." Since I am a demon, getting stabbed or cut into peaces does no harm as I simply regrow in seconds.

The fact we just wanted to move on is already minor point since I like compliments, same with all other women.

[Nighty]

"Owww you know that I love your horns, lovely red hairs to play with and tail to lightly tug over to tease you" Chuckling, he place his hands over the table and look at her with soft smirk when move his white eyes over her clothes and figure before winks lightly "Look good on you, probably will also suit you without the cover. And I know that... we both go through alot" With that said he sigh softly with smile before smiles gently and watch her

"Hehe, thats what I wanted to hear, thank you." I smile bright. I am a bit suprised Nighty is that forward. I misjudged him a little it seems.

"We both go through a lot? You mean being impaled and injured? Thats not so bad, isn't it?" I giggle and sit up straight and then stand up of my chair. Talking openly is no big issue in the guild house as everyone is eating, drinking or planning anyways. It is noisy so noone could spy on us. Like anyone would spy on some copper adventurers anyways.

[Nighty]

"Never was.... recover tho... Sometimes sucks" He chuckle and look over her when rest his hands over the table and lightly move right hand over to Brun before rub the top it with the fingers "But always was fun with you around in this situations. Never complain" With smirk Nighty move his hand back and stretch little as he look around before notice the board in the far end of the guild house "Well I hope this board there is for jobs..."

"Well, you are right. Sometimes it is annoying indeed. But yes, we are a great team, right? Sharing the pain with one another helps, hehe." I smile and visibly like Nighty touching my hand, showing I like his advances. Even if I have my important goals, I do look forward for the adventure and time spent too.

"Yes, it is. Lets take a look. Hopefully there are enough quests around." I stand up and make my way to the board. Around us are some other people watching the board. Some of them look suspicious at as but thats just the usual since we are new and strangers to this smaller village. To my suprise there are quiet a few copper quests around. But if you read the quests details written on the different papers you know why. Copper quests dont give a lot of money and are usually shitty tasks not many people want to do. The majority of people want to get higher quests, the copper ones are usually the ones left behind.

I carefully read the different papers to choose one. "What about this: This quest is about a farmer who wants to protect his animals from predators that come by night." I point at one of the papers. "Or this one: Reinforcing the city guards for a night shift.. Hm, that one sounds boring. Or: Gathering herbals and eggs in nature... I guess there is some stuff to choose from. What do ya think?"

[Nighty]

"I really not wanna collect vegetables.... and guard duty end up dull most time, in this place it would be especially boring. So hunting down animals I guess" Nighty look at them when sigh as he kinda expect it. Still they need to start somehow as he look over her and nods with soft smile "Atleast it will be fast"

"Hmm yes, you are right. But it is a kinda weird quest. I am not the cleverest person but protecting a farm from wild animals sounds not like a typical beginner quest. Imagine a cute little newbie without any experience protecting a farm, hehe."

While I talk the guild maid pins a few new quests onto the wall right next to us and hears me talk randomly. "Oh, don't worry. There are no big and dangerous animals in this area around the village. Thats why it is most likely a predator going for animals and not humans. Your presence is probably enough to strike fear into the animal. You will not have a hard time, there are a lot of things you can do to capture or kill the animal. Like using a bait or a trap. You seem like you can do it, I believe in you. The animals around here are of the lowest rank and are harmless." The guild maid says and explains.

"Alright, thank you very much for the explanation. We will take this quest then." I answer her with a smile and the guild maid nods. We can't just take a quest from the board, we need to tell the guild maid so she can explain to us the details. She also decides if we are suitable for the quest. Also if we don't return she can put up the quest once again for other people.

Once thats done I look at Nighty. "Well, seems like a somewhat interessting quest. Lets see where that leads us to. Are you ready to go? Our first station will be the farm then. Should not be far, a pleasant walk." I look at the quest in my hand. On the paper someone draw a small map which shows the way to the farm.

[Nighty]

"Well this will make it easier" He nods to the person that give them quest before look over Brunhilde and nods as I smiles little "Sure, let's go. No rush, just slow walk over there. Plus we can see some landmarks on the way" Nighty winks and let her lead the way, ladies first and all as he look over the place... This will be intresting experience for sure.... Let's hope it will end up fine and calm

"Alright, lets go." I open the door and leave the guild house onto the street. Since the village is not large we can leave it in no time. Our path leads us through parts of the village and to the river. A bridge leads the way over the water and out of the village. On the other side of the river is a trail that proceeds over the cliffs. There are many cliffs in this area, even the village is built on them. Around us are a few villagers here and there working or walking around, carrying their goods.

"Slow walk seems nice but I must say I highly prefer flying, hehe. Unfortunately I can't use my wings. Maybe in the dark when noone sees us in the sky... By the way, do you need to 'eat' something every now and then? Like humans or so? For that we should travel to another city if thats the case."

[Nighty]

"Hmm yea but why have feet if not to walk? Atleast views are nice" He answer Brunhilde as he place his hands behind him when follow her. Cliff arounds make nice views and let have good view of when blocking others.... Perfect for hiding when needed as he smiles softly "In dark when noone watch you can do this, I doubt someone will catch you here. And about food.... Not really, I eat mostly for entertainment and just pleasure...." He watch villagers do their chores and chuckle little.... peaceful, calm life of farmers.... Maybe one day just for some time try to see how it goes... Apple garden sound nice

"The view is nice, yea. But I dont really feel attached to nature I must say. Maybe if I live in it for some time I learn to appreciate it but its not something that moves me, if you understand what I mean. I guess I am not really a nature-person, hehe. Its a big contrast to my home. In my home-world are only cliffs, rocks and dust. And it is mostly dark. Thats how I love it. I cant imagine to live anywhere else and I dont want to either. But dont let me ruin it, Im not saying its bad out here, hehe. Its probably just the way I am and grew up. Can you imagine living here? I guess not many demons can. I assume the typical demon prefers it dark, cold and plain. Especially the reluctance of sunlight is a huge factor."

We walk over the bridge, follow the trail and soon reach some more flat lands with flowers and grasses. Probably a good place to cultivate fields. And we already see a few wooden buildings in the distance. That is the farm. The guild maid was right, it is surely not far away. But well, the lower ranked quests are usually not that far away.

"Well since you dont need food, just like me, we have a big advantge. We dont have to buy food, hehe. Good to save up some money. Honestly, the first thing I want to buy is a magical item for you, to hide your horns so you can move freely and without the hood."

[Nighty]

"I guess but I was out alot so I enjoy the view.... it is calm. But I can see your point, living in some place make you adapt to the stuff and grow fond of it" He nods and answer her as he look around with soft smile, his hand move over to her arm as he wrap around it and just hug her. He look over the wooden building as Nighty smirks and chuckle "Well maybe if someone buy that I'm half-dragon, I could remove cape.... I just not like hide with magic"
