[Nighty]

Nighty walk around shop before find knife that look like skinning one but shorter and on size of throwing one as he spin them lightly before throw in the air as he nods... Can be good one but he kinda move aside from it as he see pair of two knife that catch his eyes, look like hunter one use in forest but wooden work over it and nice balance was all it take for him to ask for them

"Found something?" I say and look over Nightys shoulder after I put away the random sword I tried. Either way the sword is way too expensive, this city surely has some quality stuff but most stuff here is super expensive.

[Nighty]

Nods and pick up both when look over it as I ask for price for this two... Good pair of throwing knifes around.

"Hm, you are the expert. What makes you think they are a good choice?" I smile. The merchant meanwhile tells you a price. Not cheap but affordable at least. At least the quality is right.

[Nighty]

"Balance, shape and how they lay in hands... Are the things like this are important. Also must be relative light to be able to throw but not too light so it will not bounce" He answer and listen to the price before smiles and gently nods, well he have enough for them so he paid and get them under his jacket.

"Hehe, really? Nice, you surely know your stuff." I giggle. "So, we have everything for now? The only thing left is swimwear and the magical tent but that we can buy another day. I guess we can go for a quest for now?"

[Nighty]

"Sure we can... And you really want this swim suit" He smirks and chuckle as he come out with soft stretch of his muscles and sigh happy, following Brunhilde back to the guild house

"Of course, I want to go to the beach after all sooner or later. You dont?" I walk again away from the port to the broad stairs to go up to the upper platforms of the big city. "Oh, lets just drop our things in the apartment real quick."

[Nighty]

"Fair enough, no need to carry all this around." He nods and follow her back to the apartment when carring most stuff

Once we reach the apartment I put the food in the kitchen and put the remaining pirate loot into a chest infront of the bed. Once thats done I wonder if I should take the empty bag with me or leave it at home but I decide to take it with me. Its super new after all and its always nice to have something new. I put the beg on my shoulder and carry it like a womens purse.

"Okay, lets go to the guild house. Hopefully they have something simple in it for the rest of the day. But we still have lots of time." Its probably aound noon right now. We then make our way to the guild house. The streets meanwhile are as crowded as usual, most people are busy, there are some tourists though here too. After all probably lots of people from the kingdom come here to relax. But they are probably mostly wealthy people who can afford doing holidays.

[Nighty]

Nighty help Brunhilde place stuff on the place when nods, checking how the fanny pack and knifes lay over his jacket and under it before look at the treasures that she left with smile "Let's hope nobody is stupid enough to rob us" He chuckle and nods when look over her before follow, watching around with soft smile... Alot of new comers but this place look like nice rest for all rich. He hold his hands in the pockets as he follow the Succuby into the guild house

"Yea, lets hope. Else I have to cut someone into pieces to get my stuff back." I grins and we make our way to the guild house. In the house itself it is not as busy as usual at this time of the day. I walk over to the questboard to look for something suitable. There are as usual a lot of quests hanging on the board but usually the best ones are taken in the morning pretty quickly.

After a few minutes I take some quest papers off the board. "So we have uhh... monster hunting quests. There are a lot of them but we arent in the beginner area fter all. There are many more monster around in this part of the continent I suppose. One quest is about a merchant who needs some body guards. The kingdom doesnt offer their knights for such business obviously. Then there are people missing in a nearby village and the kingdom guards need some experienced monster hunters... Interessting. I bet my everything that the one we are looking for is a demon." I grins. "Lastly we are supposed to be lifesaver at one part of the beach. Heh, interessting. How good can you swim?" I giggle. "So what do you feel like doing?"

[Nighty]

"I can swim.... Don't worry about me. But demon sound intresting must say, would like to see one how it behave here" He nods and listen to the offers as he rub his chin. All are kinda intresting to be fair, he look over them and read for himself to understand it. He look over Brunhilde after short time and nods before winks "Your choice this day"

"Alright, then we are the right persons to hunt one. We will go with the demon." I grins. Indeed we are the perfect choice. And hunting a demon doesnt mean anything, to me at least. Demons are monsters, they dont have a connection to eachother. They kill eachother without hesitation even if its their own race. But honestly, humans do just the same, right? "You have a good point, its interessting to understand how humans and demons in this world come along with eachother. I'd like to know more about it. I doubt there will be anything spectacular about it though, probably just the same old stories of demons entering this world and feasting on humans." I say and keep the quest in my hand but pin the other ones back onto the quest board.

[Nighty]

"We will see.... I rather learn as much as I can tho. Better to know more then less and etc. etc." He answer and look over the quest before smirks as he wait for Brunhilde to complete the paperology with the maid. He on the other hand just look around the guild hall and people over it.... Some are out but there some here who sit and drink with food and talks... still in their own groups tho

"Hehe, surely." I go over to the maid and she loks at us suspicious:

"Well, well. This quest is from the village not far away from here. It seems like there are people missing, there were also bodies found. And often the first ones to investigate are the kingdoms knights and staff. But it seems like they didnt find anyone. Thats why an experienced monster hunter is needed. I mean, yes you seem to be strong but do you even have the expertise? I dont think thats the case, especially since you went through the ranks pretty quickly." The maid sighs and explains.

"Oh, I understand and you are right. But we were supposed to find the opponent ourselves and we always did until now. I can understand your point but we are skilled with hunting and investigating. We are able to help the villagers." I say with a smile and a strong confidence in my voice. Its hard to argue against me usually because I have such a strong presence and self confidence.

[Nighty]

Nighty nods from distance and smiles softly before come closer and place hand on Brunhilde arms, looking at the maid "Miss that is true, we kinda go up fast in ranks. But also proven we can take care alot of situation. Don't worry, we can do it." He smiles and nods when lightly rub Brunhilde arms and shoulders as he rest his chin over her head.

"Well, if you say that like this there is nothing I can say against that." The maid sighs again and shakes her head. "Just make sure to retreat if things are getting out of hand. Its no shame to abandon a quest and leave it for others. That happens on a daily basis. Everything is better than dying."

She takes out a map from behind the counter. The map shows the island on which the city is placed and the coastline on the mainland. "Alright so your path leads you deeper into the mainland away from the coast. Its a little walk through the nearby woods. The Village is in the woods. You will meet some village guards there who protect it but even though with permanent protection villagers are still disappearing. You will hunt the monster then and brings its head. Its your responsibility. The kingdom has many clever individuals who are investigating and protecting the people but people disappearing is something that happens on a regular basis unfortunately. Those investigators of the kingdom are busy with much bigger problems the kingdom has to face. So its up to you. If you have further questions feel free to ask. "Heh.... Alive is preferable must say" Nighty nods and study the map silently as he look around, his eyes move over it to catch all point of interest over the area and surrounding the village before he ask "Is something special with it's village? Or is around some unusal old structures? Plus when and how people disappear. They just vanish without any trace and fight or this is more forceful approuch?" He ask this as this is alos important stuff to know, locations, story, hell even common rock can be problem if someone not see danger of it...

"These are all valid questions but I dont know too many details about it. The best source of information in such a case is the village itself with its village elder and the guard who are there. Aside from that the area is hilly, there are no ruins nearby. It is usually a save place but as of latest people prevent the area. They say the forest appears eerie and causes and unsettling feeling. But as I said, you will get everything you need in the village."
