Guild RP

"Something like that you can also get from an alchemist or a shop with magical equipment. We have mostly only tools and weapons here." The man says. Once we want to pay he gives us a great discount, he would even give it for free but then he'd get problems, all he wants is the danger to be over. People in this village are surely not used to such problems. But that is actually a good thing.

"Do you think we can visit the alchemist from yesterday?" I ask but we could also simply ask the merchant of this shop to tell us where we should go.

[Nighty]

"We could talk to alchemist... I hope he have some and not make weed killer" He chuckle and look aside from the joke he made as he paid for the stuff and just throw in the bag he took from and put stuff there. After that he smiles and walk out with Brunhilde before look around, heading to the alchemist house.

"Yea, lets see if he helps us. Im sure he can help the village in such a case. But we dont have much more time." I say since the sun is already slowly peeking over the forest, rising. We maybe have an hour left or a little more. At least the village is not large so every shop and person is basically nearby.

Once we reach the house we knock on the door. (Your NPC )

[Nighty]

Nighty nods and knock on the door as he waits, hearing some silent rushing noises before small thund like someone falling over before door opens, and here it is, our lovely alchemist, one look can tell he fall over as the dust can be seen over his clothes

"Yes? What you need? I doubt you here for the job as I didn't ask for help.... Yet" He answer and shake off the dust from his suit when Nighty smirks and shake his head, explaining quickly what he need and he rather have it now as the attack my happen soon, sun is coming

I look at the man wondering, wall he suits how you would imagine a mad scientists of some sort. Hopefully he has what Nighty wants or at least he can help otherwise since its for the sake of this village and its residents!

[Nighty]

"Well not have any poison flowers since I used them all for my experiments.." He rub the back of his head as he sigh but then shake his head few times "But acid? Well if you can carry it, i have whole barrel of it.... It's maybe slightly outdated but still burns as it should"

"Perfect" Nighty smirks and paid for it as he give bag with stuff to Brunhilde, decide that he can just take the barrel with him.... What wrong may happen?

"Hehe nice. Anything else you think we can use? Shall I take the barrel for you? Its no problem for me." I smile.

[Nighty]

"I can carry it no worries. But I guess it is all" He nods and smiles to Brunhilde as he pick up barrel and carefully carry it outside, nodding to the alchemist as he look over us two little baffled but shake his head. Once outside, Nighty look at the sky before head to the spot that was choose

"Fine but remember, I am actually 11 meters tall, this little barrel is nothing." I giggle as we walk outside and head to the north side of the village.

The north side of the village is not very well protected at all. There are houses at the border of the village and only a long wooden fence seperating the village from the outer world. The terrain of the north side is absolutely flat and in the distance is the forest. A simple but difficult terrain since there is no cover or a way to funnel enemies. Arches can sit in the backline though and see very well, you can also climb on a house.

On the flat grass at the city border is the village maid talking with a few other adventurers, probably coordinating everything. There are also some simple tents set up, in it are tools, food, water and things you might need in a war. Nice they could set it up within a short timespan but the things we have are very limited, there are only a handfull of tents. The adventurers are staying together and planing on what to do all around the north side of the village. But we are not a lot for sure, there are only maybe 50 iron and silver ranked adventurers. Compared to an army we are a bunch of losers and beginners. Easy little snack.

[Nighty]

"This will.... be a slaughter house" Nighty sigh as he look at the when roll the barell from one arm to another, he look all over it with soft concern... No, yea if we gonna do this we need to have plan or this will be one sided... And quickly. Nighty walk down the path between tents as he look over it and go pass them to check the terrain option as he swing his head from left to right "Well... we gotta do what we have... and it is shit" He mumble and place barrel down before sit on it as he watch the battleground "Atleast range groups have small option of working around"

"Well it surely seems like. It is just a flat land hehe and the village doesnt even have a wall. But yea, we can see well at least, archers amy be of use here... But all depends on how strong these animals are, I still dont know what these things are." I say after crouching down next to Nighty and look at the forest in the distance.

The guild maid comes up from behind us and heard our few words. "Oh? Oh, yes, you are not from here, right? In this area midnight bulls are very dangerous animals. They are very strong and fast, also large and heavy. The problem with these animals is that they are agressive and when moving from one area to the other they destroy everything in the path. The usually dont bother walking around the farm, they are self confident and smug, the run everything down. Thats why people dont settle down in the wandering route of the bulls. But this time a herd of them left their usual route and went to this area which is very unusual but can happen. Reinforcement is already on their way from the kingdom but they wont make it here in time. At least they may help injured people." The guild maid sighs.

Behind the adventurers a small group of knights enter our small camp aswell. They wear shiny armor and carry the banner of this kingdom. But as I said, their armor is shiny, which means they dont fight a lot. They are hear to guard this village but their number is low too, they are not more than 10. It is a suprise how unprepared this village is but yes, this is the beginner area, something like that doesnt happen here. Still not great.

"Do you have more questions?" The guild maid asks. "And dont worry about the terrain, I have a suprise for us prepared." She giggles. "If you have traps you can lay them right here and now or you wait for the enemy to arrive and then decide. Or lay them during the battle, whatever suits your boat."

The adventurers and knights of the camp are looking at the distant treeline. It is almost time, the herd should be here very soon.

[Nighty]

"Thanks for information.... Either starvation or someone push them here.... Still, job is job" He nods and stand up from the barrel before pick it up just move to the trap line as he look over it... Well good spot as any as he nods to Brunhilde and smiles softly "So we will have our hands full.... Ready to probably end up bloody and dirty?" He ask jokingly as he focus now on setting the traps, line of bombs with the rope connected to it so can be ignite from longer distance and one acid barrel to break over herd.... Not much but can help slow them down

The guild maid nods and bows down with a smile before she goes to other adventurers making sure they are fine.

"Hehe, sounds like usual business." I giggle and watch Nighty setting up the traps which is kinda interessting since I never use tools or traps.

After a moment a knight on a horse appears from the treeline, he is having the usual kingdoms banner on a spear. He rides, stops once he reaches the camp and jumps of the horse to talk to the guild maid. Seems like its a scout. Guessing from the scouts quick motion and riding it is about to get serious and the herd didnt change their wandering route. The guild maid raises her arms and one of the knights blows into a horn to signalize everyone to get ready. The adventurers and knights get ready and make a few steps away from the tents and the village itself. Even the guild maid joins the fight. We are surely not a lot of people, together with the knights we are maybe 60 or 70. But we are from different professions. Some have a bow, some use a magic wand, some use swords or spears.

After a short moment of waiting a darkish figure leaves the treeline, rushing with quick steps but stops once they spot us. The figure roars loud over to us and after a moment many more of the figures leave thre treeline, the midnight bulls. They stand on two feet to my suprise and are taller than a human, maybe like 2.5 meters.

But they are very muscular. No wonder a herd of these guys can destroy farms, they probably break through barns and wood with ease, probably not through stone at least but cant be sure about that. The scary part of it is that they outnumber us 2:1. And so they roar over to us standing infront of the treeline hyping themselves up. They seem surely agressive, we should surely keep these animals away from the villagers.

[Nighty]

"Well.... So it soon beings" Nighty nods and look over before smiles softly... This is gonna be show and not the kind you wanna see just like that.... fight will be brutal and with restriction him and Brunhilde they need keep, it will be even harder. But once you live as he put the gauntlet on his hands and hit his fists few times before grip the rope from the trap.... Just wait and light it... As focus as he is he know that it will not be easy, beast are huge and will most likely run through most of the guild members if not slow down "Ready Brun for this?"

The midnight bulls are surely up to their name. Their fur is totally black, they are probably hard to see in the nights, which is scary. And due to the fact they now rush to us all at once explains why people fear and avoid them. These animals are surely agressive and dangerous. They are fearless and stomp down whatever is in their way. I wouldnt be suprised if the kingdom decides to hunt down all of these animals after this incident. A peacefull area like this shouldnt face such terror.

This area of the land is usually peacefull because there are not many dangerous animals and monsters here and also the borders to the other countries is far away. Many people live here their peacefull lives, if you want to experience more adventures then you should head north to the big cities and further to the other climate zones. This world has it all. Ice plains, vulkans, jungles, mountains and so on and so forth. So what happens here in this beginner area is only the beginning of our journey.

While the bulls rush towards us the guild maiden in the backrow raises her arms. Around her are a few adventurers with magic wand. Their wands glow as they all call a spell and under us the ground all of a sudden shakes. The guild maiden and the magicians call upon an earth wall infront of us. The wall is large and very wide, it is a little angled with the intention to redirect the bulls not through the village but around it. Some adventurers are suprised about this huge earth wall infront of them, something like that only higher ranked adventurers can cast. And it probably costs a lot of energy, thats why multiple wizards have to call it upon.

So now we wait whats going to happen. Do the bulls walk around the wall and so walk around the village? Unfortunately they dont as the wall crushes down in the middle infront of us and the bulls walk through it. At least the wall served as a funnel concentrating all the enemy on one spot. Since a wall didnt stop them they are maybe stronger than I imagined them to be, maybe they have magical enhanced bodies or something.

"Yea, now its up to you." I say and sigh, I still hope no villager is getting harmed but it doesnt look great.

[Nighty]

"Well.... atleast it will be easier to catch them in the end" Nighty mumble as he look at the wall when nods, well didn't go fully probably as maiden hopes but to be fair, it's better then let this mindless beast to spread around. Still it will be long day as he lightly breath small fire over the rope he hold, ingiting it as it quickly start transmite the flame to the trap. Atleast he can calculate the range well as soon the beast stomps over the spot he prepare with Brunhilde, oil bombs explode in fire, letting out loud thunder noise when also spray alot of burning liquid

The maiden, wizards and other adventurers are surely scared since the wall didnt work as plannet but it was a nice try for sure. Still it is very usefull ebcause now the many midnight bulls are gathered and funneled together. Once they run towards us the front row gets caught in the explosion and the fire, a lot of them start to roar in pain as they catch fire and wiggle around desperately. The scene looks horrible for sure but at the same time it gives some motivation to the other adventurers. The wizards start to cast spells on them, the archers fire their arrows. Different spells, different arrows, some enchanted even with magic. We are all different adventurers after all, we all have our spells so everyone is using a different style.

Quickly the front row of the bulls die as they get caught in the battle. Once the back row of the bulls who are unharmed moves forward they smash down their injured and caught comrades themselves, smacking the burning ones to the ground to get them out the way. They then themselves rush forward. Once thats the case the melee fighting adventurers and village guard yell and move rush forward themselves against the bulls. "Good job." I say to Nighty and I myself rush with the group towards the attackers.

[Nighty]

"Thanks" He shrugs as he watch the scene and nods softly, well atleast some of it get bring down which is nice, it my help even some odds. But now with that done, Nighty decide to follow Brunhilde and other to face down the beasts, smirking softly on the way. Back to the bloody buissisnes we are

As the two fractions collide there are many casualties on each side very quickly. One adventurer rams a spear through the chest of one of the animals, another adventurer get his skull smashed to pulp by a single strike of the fist of one of the bulls. It is a chatoic and bloody fight, especially since we are outnumbered. But we at least have some ranged fighters that help in such a case and decimate the enemy.

I myself jump forward and smash into the ground with my fists sending forward a shockwave that cracks open the ground a little, making a few of the bulls stumble and fall to the ground. Now they are easy prey since they are immobilized.

[Nighty]

Nighty rush with his flames over his fist as he face one of the bulls, sliding under the attack between legs of the best before kick up and hit hard in the knee, shattering it in process as it probably force the monster on the safe knee. After that he follow with rush over the furry back of beast and jump little up before simple curb stomb it head on the ground, using force for it just to crush it skull with nasty sound. One down... many more to go
