[Nighty]

Nighty turn off his fire cloak before fight off the animals, now he not have to hide alot as he use enough strenght to beat the charging wolfs and birds, not really being chellenge. But strike from Leshen kinda surprised him, teleporting cheater as his slash rip his jacket open on the back, splashing blood over it as he stumble forward. But this not stop Nighty to strike at the forest beast with his steel toe boot in the chest, spraying some blood around because he need it to turn

The Leshen gets hit by the strike as he is not fast enough to teleport away and slides backwards a few meters from the impact but without loosing his balance.

I meanwhile fend off the wolves by letting my tail grow out of my body, piercing one of them across his whole length and throw the dead body away. I even let my wings grow out of me to shield myself from the kamikaze ravens. The ravens crash against my wings that can be hard as steel and break their necks, dropping to the ground. That I use my wings and tail probably means I am annoyed by these little fuckers, like mosquitos being annoying. I look at the Leshen now with a more serious facial expression and let my horns grow out of my head. "Playtime is over now."

The Leshen seems not to be injured and hesitates once again while looking at us. He recognizes us as being monsters too but of course that doesnt mean anything. Demons are not automatically friends just because they are alike. Demons kills eachother without hesitation too just to survive or for fun. And because of the fact that the rank of a demon is determined by the strenght, there is always a rivalry between demons. So if we want to squeeze out the Leshen we have to show him how strong we really are. Being hidden in the forest is nice for sure though but surely we cant destroy or burn down this place entierly.

We pause a moment and just look at eachother, like in a western movie. I make a battlestance to get ready for the next move. The Leshen also makes his final preperations as we all get serious now and behind him a huge bear appears with red glowing eyes that roars at us. Finally the Leshen initiates the fight with another root attack in broad area towards us.

[Nighty]

"I take bear, you have fun with bone head" Nighty answer when stand up from the strike of the Leshen and clean blood from his back as he engage in the fight. First he avoide the root attack by jumping above it, moving over the crack field as he charge at the bear and slam it with the kick, aiming to snap the jaw of the beast, without it atleast one weapon would be out but still need be careful.... Bears can just be as dangerous with the claws and simple mass.

"Alright." I smile again towards you. The roots make their way towards me pretty quickly but I am too careless to think about them. I am trying to come up with a strategy in my head. I am not a strategist at all, I destroy my enemies with my strength. But maybe this time I can come up with something. But to do so I may need the help of Nighty. Or maybe he can come up with a better idea how we can kill a teleporting Leshen.

The roots catch me and coil around both of my ancles. "Oh fuck, thats hot, he knows my weakness." I let out a lewd joke before the roots break my ancles, lift me up and throw me against a tree. While I crash into the flora the the tree is cracking and falls down due to the impact.

The bear meanwhile gets his jaw smashed but it doesnt seem to care about that at all. It just continues to swings his gigantic paws at you. One hit is probably enough to cut a human into pieces.

"Lets attack the Leshen together. Did you come up with a plan by now?" I yell over to you after I got back on my feet. I clean myself from the dust and dirt with my hands but I look pretty beaten up by now.

[Nighty]

"Kinda hard with all this fur claws trying to change my face into the steak" He answer as he avoide the strikes before jump back, out of the range of claws for now before send the shockwave of hell energy to cut it in half. This will be annoying as Leshen jump around but can be use againts him if played right.

'We can go two ways with him... Either force him to jump where we want or catch him... In both cases I need hand for sure" He answer when look over the Brunhilde, she look rough but she can make it out, he saw her in far worse state and still kicking as he rush into the Leshen. He doubt he will hit him at this point but he was rather testing how the jumping works on him, how far he can teleport and all.

The bear roars in pain before it vanishes into black mist. The little mobs ar enot strong but surely very annoying and a good distaction for the Leshen to suprise attack you from behind.

"Sure, I thought the same." I say and watch Nighty strike the Leshen. The Leshen sees the attack clearly thats why he can react and avoid it by teleporting. He disappears and reappears again like 50 meters next to us. He reappears again at a spot that is the furthest away from both of us. He doesnt want to teleport close to me but also wants to avoid you. If you are intelligent enough you might understand that we three are forming a triangle. At each of the corner of the big triangle is you, me and the Leshen. If you leave your corner and jump to the Leshen first of all you will take his spot of the triangle and he will teleport away from you and take the spot you were originally standing. So its like you are switching places, because he doesnt want to teleport closer to me and wants to get away from you. So when I will jump to the Leshen he will teleport to the spot I was standing before. Does that make sense?

[Nighty]

Nighty watch this clearly, like he expected Leshen just teleport away from him and keep safe distance from the Brunhilde... So he just move around but keep distance.... So if he make move, Brunhilde should have time to reach to the teleporting point of the Forest Demon and strike him as he look at Succuby and nods "He keep distance from us but he is doing it in patern..... Brun, will need your hand to strike him when he teleports from me. You should see point right now"

"Uhh, alright. I guess I am ready. I dont know where he is going to teleport but I try to manage." I think to myself, I have decent senses, so I might see where he teleports to. The Leshen seems now in a big disadvantage. There are no mobs left, no wolves or crows or bears. Maybe he used up a bunch of his magical energy. We should finish it now or it might try to escape. But either way escaping from us is nothing we can and will allow. I stand ready and wait for Nighties next attack for the Leshen to teleport away and strike him once he reappears. Good thing we are two people, doing this solo would be even harder.

[Nighty]

Nighty nods and follow for now with the plan, charging at the Leshan to attack only to allow him to teleport and let Brunhilde to strike it, he nods as he hope it will work... If not he can try other stuff but it will be costing energy to keep him down

I look around carefully and wait for the Leshen to teleport. He is not teleporting instantly, it needs a little bit of time for him to dissolve into black mist and compose at another spot. i use this time to leap forward with the help of my wings to halve the distance between us and push forward my. The tail extends its length and darts forward in great speed. Once the Leshen composes completly my tail pierces him through the chest and he lets out a grunting noise. Black blood flows out of his body. And just after a short moment he teleports away once again further away from us. But the Leshen is badly injured and drops on his knees afterwards. So its time to give him the final beating and get some information about this world.

[Nighty]

Nighty rush into direction of the wounded Leshan, now or never he think as he jump lightly with both hands above his head in axe strike as he hit it in the head, hard enough probably to crack his skull but he doubt he killed him, atleast not yet. Maybe Brunhilde will want to talk with this Elder Beast... who knows what she really want right now with it

The Leshen falls backwards onto his back, a few of his horns break and some of the black blood is running down his body. The Leshen lays motionless on the ground for a moment but then crawls weakened and injured onto his knees and hands again. He is no threat anymore and probably realized we are stronger than him and thats why there is some kind of subservience. Demons after all may follow the strongest of beings.

I walk over to Nighty and the Leshen with a smile and sigh pleased. "Good work", I say and look down to the Leshen before I grab him by the throat and lift him up in the air. The Leshen doesnt struggle that much or teleport away, he is probably way too weakened and beaten. "Speak up", I say to the Leshen with a sinister smile while holding him up infront of me.

The Leshen pauses for a moment but does answer: "You are not from this world. Who are you?" The Leshen asks, his voice sounds resounding and deep, like a devil and not humanoid.

[Nighty]

"Someone who like travel to other places... Now tell me because I'm curious... Who summon you here? Sure you could appear on your own, giving you are Elder.... But easier way was being call here by someone... So tell it" Nighty look over the Leshen before turn his head around, once again using his Hell Sight to check surrounding... If someone was near and hear this talk it would be bad for him and Brunhilde so better save then sorry

The Leshen pauses again, its like he is thinking about what to say next. "The demon king of this world lives here since a long time and gathered together all kind of monsters from hell and other realms", he answers. It is common practice for demons to travel into human worlds to feast. Its also normal that a demon king settles down here to try to take over and threaten the world.

"A demon king? Tell me about him." I say.

"... The demon king is one of the strongest beings in this world, he is living far away in the north and commands many of us. We shall take over this land and cause chaos. Thats what we do. Humans gathered together their strongest ones in the north to fend us off. But sooner or later all humans will fall. As I can see you infiltrated the adventurer ranks. Will you support the demon king", the Leshen answers.

"We have our own goals, we wont support anyone, instead we will kill the demon king." I grins. There is nothing special about this world and its demons. There is a demon king trying to take over the world. That explains why the adventurer guild of the highest rank is high up in the north. They are defending against the demons coming from the north. But it is good to know about this situation, demons exist in this world and are enemies of the humans.

I pause to let Nighty ask more questions if he wants to know more. The surrounding is clear, there is noone near us.

[Nighty]

"Hmmm so this is why you here.... causing little mayhem... Sad really. Forest in middle of nowehere to be fair, village with nothing to offer... How low you fall" He wonder more to himself then Leshen as he shake his head, place is atleast clean so there is no worries to talk with him as he turn to Brunhilde and nods "Not really anything intresting to be fair.... Do what you want" He stretch and yawns little as he look around the place

For a demon the Leshen is strong. He is definitly stronger than the average demon and much stronger than the average adventurer. But maybe not strong enough to be able to survive up in the north, it seems to be a clever idea in my eyes to move into this area of the land and feast without disturbance to gain strength that way. After all demons get stronger with the amount of consumed humans.

The Leshen doesnt answer to the provoking. I look at Nighty and then at the Leshen. "Hm, anything else we want to know?" I say to myself and think. We got some decent information for now, thats what I wanted to know. At least now we know the humans are at war with Demons and there is a demon king causing chaos. Another task to complete for later, kill the demon king. Since I dont know what else the Leshen could tell us I break his neck with my hand and rip his head together with its spine out of his body. The body drops motionless to the ground and I turn around and hang the head with its spine on my shoulder and hold it with one hand. That the black blood runs down my body doesnt bother me right now, at least we get this annoying quest done.

I then turn to Nighty. "Well, at least now we know that one of our targets is going to be the demon king at some point." I smile.

[Nighty]

"Yea.... If we wanna do it by book.... Since silver and all" he answer and look at the skull of the Leshen before lightly lift it and shake his head "Funny would be to tie his life to this skull and keep as the talking thropy" he chuckle but shake his head before sigh and rub his chin, Nighty was now covering the wounds over the back with his jacket "So we going back to village?"

"Nah, we are not going to do it now, we wait until we reach the highest guild house up in the north. So will take some time, heh."

I giggle from the idea. "Do you want to do that? I dont think its much use though. But yes, we are going back. But first we clear the remaining totems and report back to the village elder. So they can beathe easily again."

[Nighty]

"Fine by me, rest of the totems are there" Nighty point them out as he walk to second one in silent, placing both hands behind his back as he enjoy the now more calm stroll over the forest

"Okeh." I say and walk next to you to the totems. It takes a bit of time until we reached the two remainings ones. After we made sure these totems and the body of the Leshen are burned down we make our way back to the village. I still keep the head thoough so we can report. We did a good job and after we burned down the last totem the fog, darkness and unsettling feelings disappeared. The forest now looks way warmer again and it is bright in the sunlight of this warm continent. Everything went back to normal.

"I just hope we asked that Leshen all the needed question heh. I feel like we ended it too quickly. And the information we got we could actually also get from any human, hehe. But then again it may be weird to ask such things since its common knowledge. I dont know. Feels like we missed our opportunity."
